UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a letter from the King of Morocco Mohammed VI discussing strong bilateral ties between the two countries.

The letter was delivered to President Sheikh Mohamed by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, on Monday in Abu Dhabi.

President Sheikh Mohamed also conveyed his greetings for King Mohammed along with his wishes for further development and growth for Morocco and its people, wam reported.

President Mohamed also discussed the upcoming COP28 summit scheduled to be hosted by the UAE.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Court; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; and Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Chairman of the Committee in charge of Morocco's bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup were also present at the meeting the wam reported.
