At the event, the Sharjah delegation will highlight the emirate's efforts in sustainable tourism, ecotourism, adventure tourism, and cultural tourism. These initiatives have strengthened Sharjah's reputation as a leading tourism destination in the region.

The pavilion will focus on projects that protect cultural and environmental heritage while providing high-quality tourism experiences. Sharjah's participation in ITB Berlin 2025 is an important opportunity to attract more visitors from Europe and other regions.

The emirate has seen a rise in German tourists, with around 13,000 German visitors in 2023, and expectations of reaching 14,000 in 2024. The number of European tourists has also increased by 16% in 2024, showing Sharjah's growing popularity among international travelers.

Sharjah Pavilion Offers Interactive Experience

Sharjah's pavilion at the exhibition provides visitors with an interactive experience, showcasing the emirate's natural beauty, cultural heritage, and recreational spots. It highlights various destinations, including deserts, mountains, coastal areas, historic sites, and modern landmarks, giving visitors a glimpse of Sharjah's rich tourism offerings.

Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority Khalid Jasim Al Midfa highlighted the importance of the exhibition in showcasing Sharjah's attractions, rich culture, and modern infrastructure.

He also emphasized Sharjah's strong historical ties with Europe, especially Germany, making it a popular destination for European and German tourists looking for cultural experiences.

The Sharjah delegation includes representatives from key government organizations such as the Environment and Protected Areas Authority, Sharjah International Airport Authority, and Sharjah Museums Authority.

Private sector participants, including Air Arabia and Sharjah National Hotels, are also part of the team. This collaboration reflects Sharjah's dedication to expanding its tourism and travel industries.
