UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan exchanged Eid Al-Fitr greetings with his Kuwait and Turkish counterparts over phone calls.

Al Nahyan spoke with Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of the Republic of Türkiye. He conveyed his best wishes to the leaders and prayed for the people of both countries.

All three leaders prayed for security, stability, and prosperity to Muslim nations and the whole world, WAM reported.

Al Nahyan performed the Eid Al-Fitr prayer at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday morning with Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Aside from exchanging greetings with Kuwait and Turkish counterparts, the UAE president also had a phone call with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to exchange Eid greetings.

On the phone call, both leaders expressed their best wishes and prayed for peace and security for the people of the region and the world.

Furthermore, the UAE president also sent Eid greetings to the kings, Emirs, and presidents of Arab and Islamic states across the world. He conveyed his good wishes for them and their nations, hoping for ongoing progress, prosperity, and stability.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, sent similar messages to leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

Just one week after Eid celebrations, the UAE is all set to host the opening ceremony of the first Gulf Youth Games on April 16, which will see the participation of 3,500 male and female athletes competing in 25 individual and team sports. The event will be held in Dubai Opera.
